Files that keep in queue forever! (¿¡¡Can this be the problem and the solution!!?)

Hellooooooo everyone!

I'm new here, just joined the group. First of all i wanna say thanks to everyone who contributes to keep SLSK running, every administrator, moderator, coder, tester and of course ever user!

Well, today I had a strange experience. I was trying to download a file from one user's library since 3 days ago, and it never get a place on the queue or anything, just keep saying "queued".

So, today I wrote to that user telling him that I was being unable to download that file. He asked me in wich folder was the track located and I told him "it's on the folder FOLDER NAME HERE, wich it's a subfolder of a russian-named folder".

5 minutes after that, the download status changed to "File not shared". So I removed the download and went to the user's files and tryed to download it again. THIS TIME IT WORK!!! It started downloading right away. So I talk to the user and i said,  "HEY MAN I LOVE YOU!! THAT TRACK JUST DOWNLOADED WITH NO PROBLEM!!" and he told me that the only thing that he did was renaming the russian folder.

Soooo my conclusion is that some files never starts downloading because they're located in folders with strange names/very large names. I'm not sure about this, but today renaming that russian-named folder worked right away.

Can this be the possible solution for the never-ending-queued-files ??? Hope u can check this out and see if it makes sense.

(BTW sorry for my very bad english, I'm from Argentina! But hey, just trying to help hahaha)

Welcome to SS!

The user may need to re-scan files/folder if this happens again to you. Pretty sure it's nothing to do with folder names.
