Struggling to open ports with PIA VPN and Pop OS (Linux)

Hello,

Despite recently switching to Linux I am not super tech-savvy, and was wondering if anybody in here knows something I don't.

I am using Private Internet Access as my VPN, and they have a very convenient 'port forwarding' functionality but as far as I can tell it only gives one open port, not two, so people on slsk still can't access my stuff... Does anyone know if there is a way to use PIA to open two ports at once, or, failing that, how to open ports directly via Pop OS?

Oh, also - I am using SoulseekQt build 2018.1.30.

Just found out PIA only allows forwarding one port at a time. If anybody has relevant tips for port forwarding on PopOS, or if there is some kind of workaround for PIA that their tech support people wouldn't know about, it would be much appreciated.
