I was trying to figure out how to share my own folders (which was easy enough) but in doing so, changed my set download folder and can't figure out how to change it back. I can't open any of my previously downloaded files or folders from slsk. I'm using a mac (OS 10.9) and navigating my (poorly organized) files is proving difficult. When I try to set my download folder back to what it was, I can't find my soulseek downloads anymore. Tried reinstalling slsk. I can't figure out what else to do. Help would be massively appreciated.

Update: just made a new desktop folder which seems to work now. Would like to find and use the old slsk downloads folder still though, wherever it may be. I should add that when I try and find it in "all my files" when prompted to set a new download folder, "all my files" show up empty. ????

Just a suggestion.  Perhaps try and search for a known file/folder you have downloaded and then note the system path to that location.  Then like you said make a new location and make the appropriate change in soulseek to see that folder.  Good luck.

Similar problem--without a solution. I recently revamped my directory structure, and since  then when I select songs for download and go to the  transfer screen, nothing is there.  While roaming in search of a solution, I noticed that my download folder is one I do not want to use and that may not even exist.  To top it all of, I can't see any way to change the download directory. I can't browse to a new one, and nothing I try to  type into the field  appears.
This is basic computer interface.  Am I missing something?
