still crashing on macOS

Hi Staffan, I looked over our previous conversation and did some more research. This appears to be a problem with Qt on ARM Macs in general.

One person describes the exact same crash here: https://forum.qt.io/topic/158065/crashes-on-macos-arm-using-sockets

Another person reports a very similar crash for qbittorrent on an ARM mac as well: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/21978

I thought I saw mention somewhere of the problem happening specifically with the prepackaged builds of Qt, so I built a newer version of Qt (6.9.3) locally on my laptop and built a version of SoulseekQt against that. That's all I can think of trying right now, but let me know how it works for you:

Thanks very much for these later builds this one ( and the other one you posted previously ) just seem to work on ARM macs running latest OSes whereas the currently published release crashes a lot.

Would it be possible to sign new binary and release? There is no certs bundled here so apple doesn't trust it, its fine you can get it to start but it keeps nagging me about allowing it to access nearby computers and network drives, which the signed binary doesn.t
