Looks like there will never be a stable version on macOS

Hi Staffan, I looked over our previous conversation and did some more research. This appears to be a problem with Qt on ARM Macs in general.

One person describes the exact same crash here: https://forum.qt.io/topic/158065/crashes-on-macos-arm-using-sockets
Another person reports a very similar crash for qbittorrent on an ARM mac as well: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/21978

I thought I saw mention somewhere of the problem happening specifically with the prepackaged builds of Qt, so I built a newer version of Qt (6.9.3) locally on my laptop and built a version of SoulseekQt against that. That's all I can think of trying right now, but let me know how it works for you:

thank you Nir: seems to be working fine. three days now without a crash. will get back to you in a few more days. then you should make it an official download.
