SoulseekQt breaking after a couple minutes on

I normally use Nicotine, but I wanted to switch to SoulSeekQT. As far as I understand, only one person needs to have an open port to connect to people, that's fine, I have an open port, however, I still have a connectivity problem. SoulseekQT works fine for a couple of minutes, but randomly after startup it will stop connecting to people with closed ports (can't fetch file lists, get user info, or connect to peers in general) so I'm assuming my configuration breaks. My friends can't fetch my file lists and they don't have an open port configured, that seems important. Me trying to use QT also breaks Nicotine (for some reason? I don't know why but Nicotine seems to have more errors after an attempt at running QT) until a restart of my machine.

I am on Arch (btw)
