WIndows X64 running build 2024.6.30

Started to get random pauses and overnight crashes, meaning that transfers up and down are interrupted.  Seems very random in that sometimes it will run for days, other times just hours.

Are there any newer builds that address this?

Suggestions for new build - I have no idea how easy it would be to implement these, but...

It would be useful to be able to highlight multiple files for deletion in the queue.  The only options at the moment are to delete the whole queue or individual files.

Be able to start an upload on command, overriding the existing queue order.

Have a list on the website for the artists who have requested their files removed.

Thanks

Jason Russell

Hi Jason,

Can you please install Dr. MingW from here:

And run this this SoulseekQt debug build:

Once the client crashes you should get a crash report if Dr. MingW is installed, then send it to me so I can try to figure out why it's happening.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Thanks, Nir

Thanks, I've installed it.  That build of Soulseek is triggering my Norton 360 though :(  Need to find how to exclude it

The crash occurred when you were manually removing uploads from the UI?

Yup.  Oddly, I went to remove a whole album, but it would only allow me to remove individual tracks...

Are you usually doing that when it crashes? Or does it crash on its own or in response to other actions? I'm looking at a potential fix for that particular crash but please post any other crash reports you get.

Nir

Just to point out, this was an unusual crash.  The crashes I'd mentioned previously happen without user intervention

Understood, thanks. Let's see if we can get more crash reports.
