So I understand that we can use nicotine but wondering if a 5 year old version of Soulseek is being used for the backend or if there is new dev being done on this?

What is the future of these two software's as I think the community should be working hard to ensure they stay as relevant as they have been so far!

What are you hoping for in an update?

Sorry for barging in, but if I may share some features I would like to see implemented at some point: 

- Ability to start Soulseek in maximized mode. I tried some of the suggested solutions in the past, but none of them worked out for me. I'm on Windows 11.

- Ability to auto-browse a user that starts a download from me. 
Reason: There are still a lot of users that either share nothing/empty folders, lock their share or trade their stuff for some obscure music no one has. My share is unlocked, and I prefer not to share my stuff with those people and tend to check their shares, especially if they download a lot. And I can't do that if they go offline.
- Some kind of a way to tell if a user is on my user list or not by a simple glance. Maybe a different colour of the username, an asterisk or something like that. 

- Upload limit scheduler. I prefer to leave the client running so people can download from me, but I would like it to be limited during certain hours.
