Hi folks, will sharing a virtual mount such as Google Drive's Backup&Sync/Filestream on soulseek effectively allow other users to download my files? If so, are there any security concerns other than the 'normal' associated with p2p software?

Thanks for the help!

Sure, that should work.
But, maybe select a sub-folder, so not everything is visible; you probably have private data in there.

Unfortunately that does not seem to be the case. I didn't mention that I don't have the files locally, they're streamed from the cloud.

I've been in touch with another user and my shared folder appears to be empty for them. Is this a limitation of Soulseek or my cloud mounting solution? I actually use Rclone more than the Google Drive utility, but none seem to work like this.
