Having a weird issue since a couple of days. Whenever you search on something that I am also sharing, my shared files do not appear in the search results. I checked this on different computers with different accounts.
You can manually add me and browse my files, and download them from there without problem. But if you search for something that I also have, I'm not shown in the search results...

I enabled diagnostics and I see a "Shared files not found" tab, with all my shared files listed in there. It looks like the Soulseek server(?) doesn't see my shares for some reason.

I am running SS in a docker on my Unraid server over AirVPN with 2 custom forwarded ports. That setup was working fine before and nothing has changed.

I tried everything I could think of: different ports, no VPN at all. Checked my firewall, checked my router settings. Everything should be setup correctly.
I am stumped on what could be the issue. Anyone have any ideas?

have you tried decrypting the files? Sometimes files get encrypted without your knowledge or consent. This happened to me on another forum. Everyone was telling me they could not see them due to them being encrypted even though I never encrypted them nor have any encryption settings turned on.

My files are not encrypted. Also, it is possible to see them and download them if you add me as user and browse my files from there.
But I am wondering if the issue I'm having could be a permissions problem. But then, my files did show up before and nothing has changed regarding file or folder permissions.

It's a weird issue...

Check again-especially if you are using Windows 10 because Microsoft LOVES changing stuff without notice. I have had files not encrypted show up encrypted for some people but not all before. Also you may want to go into properties of your shared files and see if anything seems amiss. You might be right as far as permission-that is how I fixed my problem but I cannot remember how I did it. If you know anything about powershell or command prompt you may be able to fix it that way. Not sure since I never tried that way and it can cause serious problems if done incorrectly. What format is your files? It could be a format issue.

Hello I'm having this same problem (no encrypted/protected file as far as I can see). I have not many files shared so far: a dozen single MP3 and three folders with 4 to 21 MP3 inside.
If I browse (my own) user, I can easily see and download the files, if I search ANY of them... NOTHING!  Obviously I won't upload anything more till I am able to fix this malfunction.
Any help appreciated, many thanks
