Download speeds jumping up and down and freezing in between!

Hi. I searched quite a bit and didnt find any answers so here I go again, hoping maybe someone has a solution.

Have a stable and fast connection, using wifi. DL speeds are on unlimited setting and from some users, files complete in a matter of seconds but how it happens is weird.

DL speed builds up, lets say up til 1mbps, freezes and drops down to lets say 25kbps, freezes again and starts building up again, repeating it all the way.

Doesnt do it with users who have low upload speeds.

At first i thought that maybe its firewall or my antivirus scanning every downloaded section of the file causing the freezing but my antivirus support said none of it has anything to do with it, so what is it?

My port scan is ok, torrent program works fine.

It hasnt always been like that with QT.

Havent tried reinstalling because id loose all my queues but as some have said, it will not fix the problem of unstable DL speeds.

Many users have asked me whats up with my internet because its a little disturbing to users who let me download from them but im holding everybody else back who are waiting in queue.

I hope someone will read this and help me out:)

check that you haven't accidentally selected 'Limit download speed to...' (on the left between the download and upload sections of the main screen) - that happened to me once.
