Hello,

I am requesting a build of SoulseekQT for the ARM64 Linux platform, as I'm unable to compile one myself.

I've migrated my music player machine which feeds my DAC and home stereo from a Windows thin client to an ARM based device running Armbian recently. It's been wonderful, especially with the remote control support, but I hate not having Soulseek on it.

I've got my full music library attached to that ARM64 device, so I'd love to be able to share from it.

Thanks for your consideration! =)

Over four years later and still no Linux ARM build. Ive always ran a Linux virtual machine on my Mac but I just had to switch over to an Apple silicon Mac. But now that Macs use ARM processors, that’s making it a lot more difficult to find ARM compatible applications.

With even many Windows laptops switching to ARM processors, I thought it would start to become more supported. But things are moving slower than expected. If I knew how to do this I would, but I wasn’t given the mind needed to understand coding.

I don't have the means to create an Linux ARM build right now, but there is a newer appimage for regular Linux: https://f004.backblazeb2.com/file/SoulseekQt/SoulseekQt-2024-6-30.AppImage

I found and tried recently that version, so here is a late bug report :

In my system it doesn't remember the sizes of the columns. Every restart of the program they return to their default, short sizes. I tried the options to reset columns and font but they didn't help. Having got also SoulseekQt-2022-12-24-64bit.AppImage, I tried that one and the problem is gone.

Thanks for the program and the network, and happy holidays to every soulful organism out there!
