Older Version Download?

I use OSX Catalina, is there an older version I can download?

Hi Kristin, I'm no expert but I just joined the forums and see your question hanging unanswered, so I did some searching (I have an unused library science degree that I hope to do justice to, lol)

discusses a similar problem of needing an older version, and someone responds with this download link for a specific 2017 build: https://www.slsknet.org/SoulseekQt/Mac/SoulseekQt-2017-2-25.dmg

It has successfully downloaded to my Mac but I already have a newer version of Soulseek running so don't want to test it out. I am more of a Linux person than Mac, but my hopeful *guess* would be, if you install this older build on your computer, it would then allow you in-app to upgrade from that version to whichever the latest version your OS *can* handle would be. Fingers crossed!

From my cursory searching, Soulseek doesn't provide a user-facing repository of versioned older builds where you could navigate to the exact perfect one for your situation, but if the 8-years-old installer still, in fact, installs, I hope that could help you along. Final note- the second URL linked in that forums discussion above seems to now direct to some sort of spam site, so clickers beware!

As far as I can see, there's a version from February 2021, and then nothing, anywhere - except from 2025, which doesn't support Catalina. 

Seems like ther would have to be something in between!

Not sure if it helps, but after endless difficulties with newer builds, I reverted to using build 2018.11.16 on my Mac (there's a Windoze buiuld as well if you search for it)

I'm running OS 26.3 (Tahoe) on a Mac mini M4. The 2018 dmg file can be downloadced from here: https://soulseekqt.en.malavida.com/mac/ 

The Windoze executable is found here: https://filehippo.com/it/download_soulseek/2018.11.16/

The Mac version works fine. There is the occasional - but very rare - freeze/crash, but it's not often enough to present an annoyance.

Latest version to work on Catalina as far as I know, this one should work from OSX 10.14 and above
