Beta Version or Nicotine?

What's the latest version of slsk or beta is there? Also, what do you guy think of Nicotine+

I might be yelled at for this, but i have preferred the nicotine interface over the stock one once it became available some 20 years ago ( ack...does not feel like its been that long ) .  To me, its more straight forward.  ( and its python :) )

But of course i appreciate the work being done by the founder to keep the network alive or it would all be pointless. Would be a tragic loss to the planet if ( or when ) it were to die.
