Hi everyone,

I wanted to ask if there’s a newer version of SoulseekQt available than what’s listed on the official downloads page or through Homebrew. I came across some conversations mentioning a “mystical URL” where more recent builds might have been posted, but I haven’t been able to find it.

Also, does anyone know why the Homebrew formula hasn’t been updated in a while?

Thanks in advance!

The test builds linked to from the download page (here: https://www.slsknet.org/news/node/3723) contain almost all latest fixes. This Windows build also has faster garbage collection with helps some users with occasional random pauses and a couple of other fixes:

Thanks a lot for the clarification and the links! Really appreciate it. 🙏
I also noticed that the SoulseekQt package on Homebrew is at version 2024.6.30, so it looks like that one is already up-to-date with the latest release.

I recently installed the 2024.6.30 version, from the link in the official site, but it seems that the signature of the installation file, does not much the content of the file. I tried to redoundload, but it seems to have the same problem.

Sorry for the split to two messges. The installation went as if it is not signed but Hitman pro claimed that it is signed and that the signature is fine, but that the file does not much the signature. Can anyone replicate the issue?

I'm not sure what that means... I did post the test builds to the download page last night but the Windows builds aren't supposed to be signed...

Thanks for the response Nir, and apology for a mistake. It wasn't the installation files but rather one of the installed DLL files. Should I give here the full report of Hitman Pro?

Thanks, yes, it sounds like a false positive. Maybe there's something I can do to get them to stop flagging it.
