Very Slow Initiation System

Good afternoon, friends. For the past few weeks, I've noticed that the system is very slow when it starts up to load personal files. Before, it took no more than 5 minutes, but now it takes almost half an hour. Is there any reason for this? Do I need to update the system? Thank you very much.

There's no reason it should slow down that much. Something else must be going wrong. I would assume a hard drive beginning to fail. Try to make a backup immediately. Then check the drive for errors. Or, if when you were making the backup, you noticed clicking noises or long pauses, it's probably doomed.
