linux client Museek daemon allowed on network?

Hey nir.

There seems to be some renewed interest in the museek project -- the linux soulseek daemon. 


One dev in particular recently did some major repairs, but says that the search network doesn't send queries to museek.


If that's true, would you please consider allowing museek to receive search requests?

It sure would be nice to have a working soulseek "server" -- a linux/console daemon. I think it would be good for the network by making it easier for people with seedboxes and dedicated/VPS servers to share their fat collections over fat intertubes. (The linux GUIs aren't well suited for this purpose.)

I confirm this would be very useful, for building a web view client for instance.

Agree - I'm currently running SLSK via Docker for seedbox purposes with the noVNC web client (so i can access it in the browser) ... Does the trick, but not as nice as a native web client...

is there any progress on this. this seems to be the only non-gui/headless client, and it's banned from getting search results. makes no sense.
