Please pray for our brother Dan - had a stroke, in hospital

Family - 

Please pray for our dear brother Dan. He had a stroke and was hospitalized at Stanford ICU. More details below from Gail. 

From Gail: “Hi you two. Hope all is well with you. We miss you guys. Requesting prayers for Dan. He had a stroke yesterday morning and has been at Stanford ICU, but is moving to a regular room tonight. He’s doing well but would love additional prayers for a complete recovery.  He had surgery to remove the clot and it was very successful- we thank and praise God for this!”

Father - we lift up our dear brother during this time of trial. We pray your healing, your presence, and your power be manifest as he recovers. Surround him with the Body, and with your Spirit. Glorify yourself in his healing. We pray this, in the name of Him who can do all things, our Lord Jesus. Amen.

Thank you, All, for the prayers on Dan's behalf.  I know that prayers and God's loving grace made all the difference in the outcome of this stroke. 
Dan is now home with orders to rest. There will be follow-up appointments in the weeks to come to determine how to repair the "hole" in his heart, and the remaining clot in his leg is being treated with medication.  He is also on a heart monitor for the next two weeks. Aside from all of this, and being very tired, he is doing well and on his way back to normal. 
Your prayers and friendship are very much appreciated as he continues to heal.

Thank the Lord that Dan is recovering well! We pray for your complete healing and restoration-

May His presence and peace be with you in every step of the way as you undergo further testing and treatment. Please take care of yourselves, keep us updated, and let us know your needs and how practically we can support you guys.
