🎄圣诞季🎄是美国以至整个西方最长和最隆重的节假日。很高兴在这个季节跟大家一起学习圣诞的传统、回顾圣诞的历史——圣经当中所记载两千多年前耶稣的诞生。

Dear Scholars,

**We have free tickets for the Christmas Music Show which will be held this Saturday afternoon.  Let us know if you want them.

🎄The Christmas Season🎄 is the longest most important holiday season in the Western world, although there are actually only two official holiday dates during this time, December 25 and January 1.  During this time all schools and universities are on winter break and many workers are given time off by their employers or take personal vacation time off during some days during this period. We will talk about the Christmas traditions during this season at our meetings and spend time to read the story from the Bible about the coming of Jesus over 2,000 years ago.  It is this event that is the main source of the Christmas holiday.

We will also play some popular American card and board games together during the first hour while we talk casually before the reading and discussion.  

If you want to see the readings we will discuss ahead of time, please send your request to Joe (Lor...@aol.com or joelorencz@yahoo.com) and he will email it to you.
