Hang out at McCarren Park?

Hey everybody,
The Trust Art exhibition on Liberty Island was shifted to McCarren
Park (it is a great story that I am waiting to hear and pass on), and
it would make a great opportunity to stop by and have a chat with some
old School of the Future friends. Jose was hoping you'd stop by and
say hi. I'm just going to toss out a possible time-- what if School
of the Future fans went to the farmers market at McCarren on Saturday
and had yourself a little picnic at the dome? Just a thought. Info
is below.
In other news, I'll be IN TOWN from July 20thish off and on until
September?! I'll be doing a project at Flux Factory that opens in
early September. I'm totally open to adventures and short term
teaching jobs, so pass those alongggg!
I'll be seeing you real soon! But in the meantime go have a picnic.

The Trust Art Triennial

McCarren Park gets a a pop-up art exhibition celebrating public art on
the weekend of July 7 and 8.

A 44ft-wide “public exhibition ring” will feature artworks and
ephemera from 11 recent Trust Art commissioned public art projects in
NYC. The exhibition will culminate with an installation looking to
connect hundreds of new people and project ideas.

Participating Projects/Artists: Dreamers by Justin Tellian, Wildness
by Seth Aylmer, Humanity by Anne Serrano-McClain, Alan Iwamura, David
Ablon, Lance McGregor, and Jarek Klim, Homebuilding by Facundo
Newbery, Vulture by Dave Olsen, Bushwick Art Park by Skewville,
Factory Fresh, and Leon Reid IV, Institute for Making Infinity
Comprehensible, School of the Future by Cassie Thornton, Chris
Kennedy, Barrie Cline, Grace Delgado, and the Teaching Artist Union,
the Bamboo Bike Project by Bamboo Bike Studios, Propel-Her Dance
Collective by Cara Liguori, Ani Janvian, and Betsy Miller, and Open
Ceremony by Legacy Russell.

And you. This is an open-air, open-ended exhibition.
