I'm with @Sahay_R. I would not waste time modeling molding with that level of detail. If you want to jazz up your presentations, then tile an Appearance Image. Still, unless your View is an extreme close-up of the molding, it won't even be noticeable. Might even be black and ugly.

@Anonymous: Let me add that Revit is perfectly capable of modeling very detailed geometry like you are showing, but keep in mind Line Weight. If you are like most of us, you primarily work with Thin Lines turned on. If you were to model that molding detail to scale, and then turn off Thin Lines, you'd quickly see what a waste of time it was. All the linework would bleed together -- both on screen and on paper.

Are we talking Dentils or Trim Moulding, which is what it looks like you are showing in Post #4? I've already provided a Dentil Family above. And, as far as for the Trim Moulding, I've already indicated that I wouldn't Model them and stated the reasons why. Perhaps this quick Rendering I did to show the "J11" Trim Moulding applied as a Wall Sweep will illustrate why. A rendering image about the only way you can capture all the Trim Moulding carvings in Revit. You can't model them because of Line Weight, as I explained above. But, even if you Rendered it, you can see that you would need a ridiculously extreme close-up to be able to see the Trim Moulding's carvings.

William Franklin Norman, founder of W.F. Norman Corporation, began one of the most successful businesses in tin ceiling manufacturing. Starting as a traveling salesman for the Wheeling Corrugating Company out of Wheeling, West Virginia, Norman excelled in his work.

At that time, Wheeling Corrugating was a large steel mill that also made products from their steel sheets such as roofing and siding. They became the leading tin ceiling manufacturer in the late 1800s. But because of his enterprising nature, Norman decided to open up his own shop and pioneered steel ceiling manufacturing in the West. The same line of Hi-Art tin ceilings and products are still sold at W.F. Norman Corporation today.

In preserving the existing storefront and corner entrance, the owner installed new plate glass in the existing openings and transoms and replaced the recently constructed brick infill below the plate glass windows with wooden panels. The cornice, often a significant element in storefront design, was also repaired and repainted. Important interior features, such as a pressed tin ceiling and pine fireplace mantel, were restored.

What should you know?
Because the open quality of most storefronts is not always compatible with the greater privacy and security required for new uses, owners often propose designs that involve the alteration or removal of historic materials and features. In storefronts, such features may include large expanses of glass, transom lights, cast iron surrounds, kick plates, and elaborate cornices. Collectively, these elements can be important in defining the unique character of a commerical building and should thus be retained in the process of rehabilitation.
