That price and the prohibition of ads makes it impossible to mantain free users. They want Boost and other third-party apps to move to a subscription model, where our users will have to pay a monthly subscription to use our apps to access reddit and get user generated content which is available for free on the website. In addition, the experience would be incomplete since the API will not return NSFW content anymore.

A place for discussion, requests and bug reports of the android reddit app Boost for reddit. Feel free to submit your suggestions and ideas. If you have any question or doubt, take a look at the FAQ first!

Create a new app, name it whatever you want, tick "Installed App" and fill in the redirect uri field. e.g. In rif's case, it would be redditisfun://auth. You can find what redirect URI you need by looking through the readme on the patches on Github (under the corresponding app in the Details section).

Copy the client ID string that appears in the app you just made, create a text document named reddit_client_id_revanced.txt and put it on the root of your phone's storage (/storage/emulated/0/) with that key in it.

Hello! learning fullstack dev here, I had a question I couldn't see answered anywhere, I'm not sure how this is working, but apparently boost for reddit is apparently unfazed by the API changes and is working fine, (word of mouth, not personal experience, but it seems constant among other users), and infinity is not? is boost redirecting each user's API to request for data while infinity is using one singular API for everyone? i'm still yet to learn more about API's so i'm a little confused here, I should probably learn how this works before asking but it got me curious suddenly

As most (if not all) of you already know, you can't trade or otherwise obtain standard boost in the colours pink, purple, cobalt (blue), or saffron (yellow). Which when you think about it is pretty weird with an item called standard. I'm aware that these 'exotic' painted boosts exist (just see added image) and that they were rewarded to players before the game went free-to-play. Here's the point though:

Boost for reddit is under development, so expect many updates with bug fixes and new features. The app has been only tested by me, so if you want to help and become a Beta tester, [Follow this link] ( )

This version does not have ads. In the future, I'm planning to include ads with in-app purchase to remove them, since it was a lot of work to develop the app. Of course I'll be giving away promo codes in reddit. EDIT: I re-enabled ads again. Sorry about that. I have spent months developing the app full-time and with all the requests and fixes I still have a lot of work ahead. EDIT2: The in-app purchase is ready.

hello! I have a question for the veterans, do you think it is worth to use a level 80 boost on a character if you are new? then do all the story/hearts/views etc? since i want to do it because the build that I want to use is with an elite especialization x.x what you guys think

Check the newly created app. Under the name there will be a pretty long id code (should look like this, your code will be where the red bar is). Copy this id code into a .txt file named "reddit_client_id_revanced.txt" and transfer it to your phones main file directory (where folders such as "Downloads" are located). Revanced Manager will grab your id code from this location when patching the app.

So when I play Ana I am very conservative on my Nano Boost. I always think to myself: Nah that'd be a waste. And I sometimes don't know what DPS to boost. If Rein has shatter and there's a good window to engage of course I'll nano him

Basically as soon as we started to lose a little bit my Zarya started to flame me for "being on speed boost" when I should "just be on healing the whole time". Obviously as a Lucio you definitely want to be switching between speed and heals rather than just heal botting, but that got me thinking, are his criticisms are valid and worth considering, or was it just emotions flaring?

Im new to the game and I like it a lot but I dont really want to do leveling. Should I use the boost and can I look up guides for everything on level 80? I did leveling to level 50 on lost ark and that got me really bored from leveling so I just dont want to do leveling right now.(Lost ark got boring tbh this game looks much more casual and fun). I've played GW2 for like 15 hours now

Other than that, I have a cooling pad and I undervolted to -70. Temps went from 90C to 75C. Cooler boost make it go to like 65C. I'm not playing very intensive games though (DOOM Eternal, Siege, Apex, Dying Light 2).

For a general idea about the performance compared to 99% max state, average FPS went up to about 5-15 with the temperatures still maxing out at the same 75 degree Celsius! The FPS loss from 99% disabled has been recovered while maintaining the benefit! Tiering your games at 1.7GHz, 3.0GHz, and full boosting will allow greater flexible for performance and temperature.

Why is it that the general wisdom is to damage boost when healing isn't dire rather than Glock out? I get it in situations where it's too risky to peek or where you're boosting extremely high DPS ultimates that don't require aim, but aside from that...napkin math here puts Glock miles ahead of damage boost in terms of raw team output.

Mercy's pistol deals 100 DPS for 4 seconds until reload. The breakpoint of where damage boost generates more DPS than your pistol is 333 (30% of 333 is 100), which is literally only achievable (outside of ults) by Bastion, or during fan the hammer or storm arrows. Aside from that people generally deal around 120 to 180 DPS, making damage boost equivalent to only 40 to 54 DPS.

If there's times where your teammate is in a way better position to deal damage, or a situation where you can't reliably land any shots, or they have a Ult you need to build fast...makes total sense to damage boost. But against something like a shield or one of the big tank hitboxes, it really seems like it would be much better to just shoot your shot, no?

Edit: today, while struggling to browse reddit during this wierd glitch/network issue, everything returned back to normal. This app never updated since the glitch started so I think that basically confirms that this was just a network issue.

I played Mercy a lot without damage boosting and am now working on balancing dmg boost and heal and its going wonderfully, about 2k or more a match. Is this standard, should I shoot for a higher number? I'm still landing gold on healing most matches with 2k boosted, taking gold healing as a plus and not a focus anymore. Is 2k average? I just need to know what numbers to expect so I can improve to that point.

In the past, we could reach 15% boost on the FIRST day by completing all the challenges available. Now it takes at least 4 days for the 15% research boost and 5 days for the building boost.

Now this is all theoretical on my part, I'm pretty sure I'll just level up normally to 80 to have a base experience of how it is for the future, but I'm asking the community - is there any good reason for a new player not to boost to level 80 for the "real" open Guild Wars 2 experience?

So my question for Lucio mains out there, lets say where in a team fight, one enemy is low, crossfade to speed to help catch/secure kill. That makes sense, however, other than trying to help teams avoid an ult is there any circumstance where I would amp up the speed boost?

I brought the premium starter pack along with the game so I have 2,300 helix credits to play with. Was planning to get the 1,500 pack that gives both xp and coins boost then the ISU Armour set since I've seen alot of people say its a great Armour set along with looking really good visually.

Hi, I feel like a bit of an idiot here and I probably am but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get boost to open Reddit links. I have both boost and the official app installed and it doesn't matter what I do, the official app always opens Reddit links when I click the open in app button on the Reddit website. If I don't have the official app installed, it takes me to the Google Play store page for the app.

Edit: one thing I found interesting is that it only happens when I click the use app button on the Reddit website in my btowser, If I copy paste the link into another app (say, discord) it DOES open it in boost

Hi I'm new to boost , had no idea it existed an hour ago and it's already by favorite app on my phone . It just seems so we'll optimized and thought out. I definitely prefer my reddit experience here than in the main app. I would like to replicate this with Twitter and maybe Instagram. So I ask ... Is there like a boost version of Twitter or Instagram ?

Playing FS2020 a lot. 5600X, 3060Ti. 2560 x 1440. Game mode off (not sure about the status of using Game mode today?). Gsync compat Screen (LG 27GL83a). Vsync OFF (seem to work best). Then there is Reflex - not sure if it should be enabled, and if so with the +boost option? Can you please explain if I will benefit from using this feat?

For example, I'm looking at around 11 DGW players and 4 players (triple Arsenal + Kane) with one game in GW29. Would this be a good time to use the Bench Boost chip? Or is there a better opportunity for a bench boost later on in the season?

It appears that Ogerpon's equippable masks aren't actually useless items. In battle they give Ogerpon a 20% boost in damage to all its STAB moves, similar to how an item like Griseous Orb boosts Giratina's STAB attacks by 20%.

EDIT: It was just confirmed by a dataminer that the 20% boost applies to all moves, regardless of STAB or not. See details here. (Technically the actual boost in the code is 4915/4096, but 20% is close enough.)

For example I usually go with Sparkles (Grey) boost, and the reason is that it does not get in the way visually nor audibly. The non-boosting trail is also beautiful although I wish the boost's colour applied to the trail as well.
