There isn't anything planned, but we really need to.

Would anyone object strongly if we were to hold the next meeting at the
Gordon office - Level 3 - 828 Pacific Highway Gordon? Gordon is a major
railway station on the North Shore line for those who use the train and
also has a car park. I'm not sure about whether or not I can get the
building car park opened up, but could chase that up; otherwise it's
only a 5 minute walk from the station.

The reason that I ask this is I have a couple of boxes of goodies that I
*really* don't want to have to cart down to North Sydney.

These include shirts (including the new SOSUG branded ones), hats,
key-rings, CDs, booklets.

I'd like to try to organise a largish meeting so we can get a few other
folks to help with organising more regular meetings. It's been way too
long since we had one and if I am left to do it myself then as you can
see, it doesn't happen when I get swamped.

Alan.

You're right about it being too long, and it would be great to catch up
with everyone. What's special about SOSUG meetings is that there's a
high proportion of behind-the-scenes technical people fom Sun. Face it
guys, you're the ones we want to see :)

Alan, if you need help organising a night, then apart from making a
room available I am sure any one of us can help with all the other
aspects.

Besides, I'll go anywhere for a free t-shirt :)

regards,
-glenn
