Call for Concepts for Culture Network Development Projects
The Swiss Cultural Programme in the Western Balkans (SCP) supports regional cooperation projects in fields of culture and arts in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. During 2011-12 SCP will be implementing a series of activities on strengthening of cultural networks.
In this context,
Swiss Cultural Programme
invites
cultural organisations, initiatives, networks and/or associations
from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia
to submit concepts for Culture Network Development Projects (CNDPs)
Culture Network Development Projects should contribute to improved cooperation amongst and established lasting partnerships between cultural organizations and operators in the Western Balkans, through strengthening of local, national and regional cultural networks/platforms.
They should contribute to/promote the SCP’s specific objectives for supporting CNDPs:
· Recognition and affirmation of arts and culture as a tool for social change furthered through promoted bottom-up, collaborative practices and increased exchange of knowledge and ideas.
· Sustainability prospects of cultural stakeholders enhanced through their active involvement and inclusion in participatory policy making processes, and strengthened position in civil dialogue.
Projects should be implemented in 2012 within a timeframe of 10 months

Submission: a motivation letter (1 page) and a completed network concept form should be submitted to SCP at s...@scp-ba.net by one organisation/legal entity that is a representative of a particular network. Other additional material, submissions in incorrect form, delayed or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
Timeline: Deadline for submission of the CNDP Concept documents is Sunday, 31 July 2011.
SCP Regional Steering Committee (RSC) will select a number of convincing concepts at the beginning of September 2011. Selected applicants will be invited to further develop a full proposal. Final selection: November 2011.
All applicants will be informed about the selection results by email.
