SOS Coalition media release on the SABC Grievance Report

Attached please find the SOS: Support Public Broadcasting Coalition’s statement on the SABC’s Special Committee Report (Grievance Report) on the grievance lodged by former SABC GE, Phathiswa Magopeni, against the SABC Board Chairperson, Bongumusa Mkhathini.
The Coalition wrote to the SABC Board requesting that the Report be published externally as it is a matter of public interest. The Report is now available on the SABC website.
There are links in the attached SOS Coalition media statement to the SABC statement of 8 April on the conclusion of the grievance, to the SABC statement of 23 June acknowledging the role of SOS in ensuring the SABC responded in a transparent fashion, and to the Special Committee Report.
