You are invited to come to the kick-off convening of the informal group -- Rogue Eco Stewards Circle.  After the Cascade-Klamath-Siskiyou Connectivity Symposium on Thursday, May 29th - join your friends and colleagues at The Copper Plank in Medford for an informal happy hour for camaraderie and connection. 

Why are we gathering? 

In short, we are now living/functioning/operating in unprecedented political times. Our professional and personal lives have been greatly impacted in the last several months and we are navigating uncertainty and a near-constant barrage of shifting information. In short - we need each other. 

How might we proceed into the future?

The resiliency, health, and stability of our eco-region depends on our relationships with each other. We all know that we live in a special place - our commitment to caring for this landscape while also caring for each other is palpable. We, as regional eco-stewards, are thought-leaders, collaborators, and folks that take action to protect our natural spaces and each other. 

With this group, we intend to focus on increasing hyper-local bonds and trust. 

Balancing day-to-day uncertainty, “business as usual” tasks and upheaval is exhausting.  We think our best strategy is to deeply know a breadth of people in the community. When we have this level of connection, we can more easily reach out for support, and find a safe, steady information flow between one another. It also brings us one step closer to building a community we feel we belong within and a world that helps steward those important bonds.

Building strong bonds in our community prepares us for what is to come. Join us!
