Hi SOREEL,

Molly Allen and I are teaching a free ONREP workshop on March 17, and we’d love to have you join us!  Here are the details:

Move Students to Action! - Elevate Outdoor Lessons with the NGSS

Spring-cleaning for your outdoor teaching.  Dust off that tired outdoor lesson plan, and re-orient yourself to student inquiry.  In this lesson redesign workshop, we'll start with the Next Generation Science Standards and then work together to craft powerful lesson objectives for your field activity.  You'll walk away with a plan to deepen student engagement, and the courage to let go of what isn't serving students.

Tuesday, March 17, 2026

Time: 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Format: In person

Audience: Suitable for field educators, curriculum designers, and anyone who delivers outdoor lesson plans to students, grades 3rd - 12th.  Particularly suitable for outdoor school staff and any educators working with 5th -6th graders that attend outdoor school.

Learn more or register HERE!

If you have any questions, or you’re wondering whether this workshop will be a good fit you, let’s chat!

Thanks all,

Libby

Let’s get students out there!

Oregon State University is located in the traditional territory of the Ampinefu, or Mary’s River band of the Kalapuya. After the Kalapuya Treaty (Treaty of Dayton) in 1855, Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to what are now the Grand Ronde and Siletz reservations, and are now members of Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon (https://www.grandronde.org) and the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians (http://ctsi.nsn.us).
