Hello everyone!

As you can see with the flurry of emails after yesterday's SOREEL meeting, we had a very productive discussion! We collectively made the decision to make some updates to the SOREEL Website. Previously, there were 2 separate spreadsheets with information provided by each organization - a roster and a "program offerings" that was pretty outdated. We decided to delete the program offerings spreadsheet and reduce everything down to one spreadsheet - the roster. There is now a column for "current offerings" for you to fill in, and we would like you all to update the address column to reflect where your programs take place (this can be as general or specific as is relevant to your program).

We would like to get this spreadsheet updated in the next month. Please edit the information for your organization by Friday, August 22nd. If you do not make your edits by then, your organization's information will be deleted from this spreadsheet. We are hoping to make this into a more viable resource for teachers for the upcoming school year.

Here is how to make these changes (or add your organization to the list!)
  1. Go to the SOREEL website: https://sites.google.com/view/soreel/home
  2. Hover over the spreadsheet on the front page until the gray arrow appears in the right hand corner of the spreadsheet. Click on this arrow to open the spreadsheet in a new tab.Screenshot 2025-07-25 at 12.59.18 PM.png
  3. If you open the spreadsheet and you do not have access to editing privileges, click "view only" and then click "request edit access." FYI, Tara Laidlaw (ta...@landconserve.org) is the owner who will grant you access. Screenshot 2025-07-25 at 1.03.27 PM.png
Thanks, everyone!

Thanks Ellie and Elva, for jumping right on these requests!

Yes, we had a great SOREEL meeting yesterday.  If you’re interested in our discussion, I took some rough notes, here.  If I got anything wrong, feel free to edit the details of your program updates!

For our next meeting, we talked about gathering on Thursday, September 25.
Johnnie, would ScienceWorks be available at this time?

Thanks everyone,

Libby
