Fire Practitioner and Educational Training Event

Hey SOREEL,

As fire becomes a more prevalent topic around ecology here in southern Oregon, it is important that us outdoor educators are up to date on management practices, ecological adaptations, and ways that students can gain agency in building community resiliency.

I wanted to share with you all this training opportunity being put on by OSU extension, ODF, and the Rogue Valley Prescribed burn association at Siskiyou Field Institute on the weekend of April 4^th !

You do not need prior experience with fire to engage in this training.

There will be fire professionals, fire ecologists, and ITEK learning at this fun weekend event.
