How do I set the participant grouping to allow for the same type to be grouped together.  So if I have three types in a group s1, s2, and s3 and 3 groups, how do I code it so that i can allow s1.1 and s1.3 to be in the same group (G.2) if the random selection is chosen when creating a session?  I want this to at least be an option when the matching is randomized.

Thanks!

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

The randomization of the participants still considers the group structure of the experiment, as you already recognized. If you want to specify the amount of participants per group without a limitation to the grouped participants, simply remove the different roles and define the number of participants per group. That way all of the participants could be grouped in any of the groups.

I hope that answers your question, for further details you can also contact us at sup...@sophielabs.com

Kind regards
Steffen
