하이. 오늘 하루 잘들 보내고 있나요? 

전 허리케인을 핑계대고 창문 옆에 있던 침대를 안 쪽으로 돌리는등 집 구조를 완전히 바꾸고 있는 중이랍니다. 콩알만한 집인데도 짐이 많다보니 일이 끝이 없네요. @.@ (찬호오빠, 애린이는 이사 하느라고 수고 많았겠어요. 잘 하셨죠?)

내일 허리케인은 세기가 어느정도일지는 아직 잘 모르는 상황인 것 같지만 적어도 보스턴 지역에 비는 많이 올 것이고(3-5inches) 강풍이 동반되어 올 수 있는 가능성이 아직 있다고 하네요. 오늘 저녁부터 내일 오후까지라니까 아직 밖에 계신 분들은 이제 빨리 집에 들어가세요~ㅎㅎ

내일 예배시간이 한창 허리케인이 ma를 지나갈 때일 것이니 참석여부는 각자 잘 판단하시기 바랍니다. 내일 성경공부는 없구요, 청년부 예배는 있을 것입니다. 이번 주는 식사가 제공되지 않을 것이라 만약 허리케인이 심하지 않을 경우 가까운 곳에서 같이 밥을 먹으러 갈 수도 있겠습니다~ 왠만하면 일찍 파하게 될 것 같지만요.

마지막 모임이 취소돼서 넘 아쉬우니!! 허리케인이 지난간 뒤 한 번 쫑파티/식사라도 해요~

A message for the HMS community in preparation for Hurricane Irene:

WEATHER UPDATE

Current Warnings: Hurricane Warning (along the coast) and Tropical Storm Warning (inland)

Hurricane Irene has weakened to a Category 1 storm.  Currently projected to arrive as a Category 1 hurricane and weaken to a tropical storm as it crosses southern New England.  It is forecast to make landfall between Long Island and Hartford, CT on early or mid Sunday afternoon, and move through central Massachusetts as a Tropical Storm or Category 1 Hurricane.  Note that while there is still some uncertainty about Irene's exact track and timing, it is virtually certain that Irene will impact a large area of Massachusetts on Sunday.

Precipitation: Rains associated with Irene may begin as early as Saturday afternoon, with the bulk of precipitation coming Saturday night through Sunday afternoon.  3 – 5 inches of rain are anticipated for eastern Massachusetts.  

Winds: The most damaging winds will be located to the right of Irene's track.  Winds in Massachusetts are most likely forecast to be Tropical Storm (39-73mph) but could still reach Category 1 (74-95mph).  Exact timing of the arrival of damaging winds is highly dependent on Irene's forward speed; Sunday morning through Sunday night are most likely.  There is also a risk that Irene may spawn tornadoes Saturday night into Sunday.
