Does anyone know of some good places to go ride around Norman?

Yea,
I think I can help you out.

From Reeves park by lloyd noble. (BLN Thursday Ride): http://bicycleleague.com/ThursdayFastGroupTopo.pdf
This route goes southwest (really nice country). This is hilly, with some grades being about 8-9% but none of the hills are terribly long.

From Brookhaven where the spinning classes are, i beleive (BLN Tuesday Ride) http://bicycleleague.com/TuesdayFastGroupTopo.pdf
This route will take you out to around where the Airport is, much easier and flatter than the above ride

Both of the above rides can easily be extended to 60+miles or shortened for Time Trial work.
There is also a good route that goes around Lake thunderbird but i can't find a map for it.

Any of the roads in the area around the tuesday and thursday rides can easily be mixed in for longer or shorter rides.

Happy cycling
~Jay

Specifically in Norman you can ride from Imhoff to Jenkins turn right,
Jenkins to Blankenship turn right, Blankenship to Chautauqua turn
right, and Chautauqua to Imhoff and turn right again. This is a nice
and safe loop that you can practice. Basically you are doing loops
around the Lloyd Noble Center but most of it is 4 lane and you hardly
see a car on Blankenship. This is a 1.6 mile loop so you have to do
lots of circles
