The Angels Strike Force excels at fan-first promotional engagement, providing professional, enthusiastic, family-friendly experiences on both multi-media platforms and face-to-face interactions to reflect the core values of Angels Baseball.
Strike Force executes various tasks at Angels home games as well as at a variety of community events. Game presentation activities include t-shirt launches, prize giveaways, crowd prompts, and trivia contests performed live on the stadium's video board.
What are you most excited for the 2024 season? While it is tough to choose just one thing to be excited about, I would have to say Opening Day! I can't wait to see all of the amazing fans and get the season started!
What is something you could give a 30-minute presentation about with no preparation? I could give a 30-minute presentation on weightlifting and indoor cycling! Fitness has been one of my biggest passions for as long as I can remember and I'd love to be able to share all of the knowledge I've learned over the years with people around me!
Favorite Angels Game Memory: The first time I went to an Angels game! It was about three years ago and I had just moved to Orange County. I felt a huge sense of community and I wanted to go to every game I could!
Favorite Angels Game Memory: The first time my mom and I were on the video board. This happened when I was 12 and it was our first time sitting in the Diamond Club. It was a surreal and unexpected moment that I will never forget.
What are you most excited for the 2024 season? I am most excited to meet fans and spend time with my fellow Strike Force members as we bond over our love and appreciation for the Angels!!! I am also SOOOO excited to see the Angels WIN and watching those fireworks go off when they hit a home run!!!
Favorite community appearance and why? My favorite community appearance has to be our visits to Miller Children's & Women's Hospital. I love these appearances because I get to meet the children and families, see how positive they are, and even get dance lessons from some of them!!
Best part of being on Strike Force: The best part about being on Strike Force has to be meeting the fans!!! I love being able to bond over our love for the Angels (and helmet sundaes) and hearing them talk about who their favorite player is. My favorite part about meeting the fans also has to be hearing how they traveled from different states AND SOMETIMES EVEN COUNTRIES just to come see the Angels play!
Most memorable moment on Strike Force: My most memorable moment on Strike Force would have to be when I was waiting in the left field tunnel for Steal 3rd and meeting a group of Angels fans who told me all about their experience at the Taylor Swift concert the night before. Our conversation ended with them all gifting me one of their friendship bracelets that they got at the concert!
Favorite community appearance and why? I love all of our walks we attend. Every walk I have met amazing people with unique and heartfelt stories. It makes me realize how blessed we are to have a job where we can see the bigger picture in life, and to not take it for granted.
Most memorable moment on Strike Force: Meeting a new friend, a little girl who was 5 years old and having open heart surgery! She was so strong and happy for being so little and yet going through something so huge! I got to see her before, and ended up finding her again after her surgery to hear how awesome she did!! She is the strongest girl I have ever met and I hope to see her again this year!
"The Girl in Question" is episode 20 of season 5 in the television show Angel. Written by Steven S. DeKnight and Drew Goddard and directed by David Greenwalt, it was originally broadcast on May 5, 2004 on the WB network. When Angel and Spike go to Italy after hearing Buffy is in trouble, they discover she is dating their long-time nemesis The Immortal. While searching for Buffy - and the head of a demon which must be brought back to L.A. to prevent a demon war - they reminisce about their history with The Immortal and finally accept that they can't control whom Buffy dates.
Gunn discovers a demon gang war is imminent unless the dead leader's head is recovered from Rome, so Angel and Spike travel to Rome to retrieve the head. They find out that Buffy is dating their nemesis "The Immortal". Flashbacks are shown that explain why Angel and Spike hate "The Immortal": he slept with Darla and Drusilla simultaneously while his minions held Angelus and Spike in chains. They discuss the matter and conclude that Buffy must be under some sort of love spell. Spike and Angel visit Buffy's apartment and find Andrew Wells, who is living with Buffy and Dawn. He says that Buffy went to a club with The Immortal. They go to the club and see Buffy from a distance. They get distracted and leave the demon head in a bag on a table, which is snatched by The Immortal's demon butler. Angel and Spike fight the minions and "accidentally" hit each other a few times, too. The demon butler gets away with the head and leaves.
After arguing over how they would be able to find the head "if they had their resources", Angel and Spike go the Rome Wolfram & Hart offices, where they are greeted by the CEO, an ebullient Italian woman. She says the head is being held in a standard ransom situation. Angel and Spike are given money for the drop, which they exchange with the butler for the bag. They open it and in it is actually a bomb, three seconds from detonation. The two both barely survive the ensuing explosion, albeit with their clothing heavily damaged and the street destroyed. The Rome Wolfram & Hart CEO explains that they always use the bomb on first-timers as a prank, and replaces their damaged clothing, including Spike's "irreplaceable" jacket. After being locked out of her office, Spike and Angel return to Buffy's apartment where Andrew tells them to let Buffy move on, saying that although she loves them both, they need to give her some space and move on themselves or they could never again have any chance to reunite with her. Frustrated by their inability to contact Buffy and by the demon butler's chicanery on The Immortal's behalf, they go home, where they find the head on Angel's desk with a note signed by The Immortal. Though outraged that he "distracted" them again while he put the moves on "their" girl, Angel and Spike realize that they do need to move on.
