NOTICE: ED's Handover to Saleban

Greetings, hope this mail finds you well.

I am travelling to join mobilizations, awareness raising and response to AWD Emergency Situation in Burao. Please accept this as a FORMAL NOTICE. Mr. SALEBAN will be the ACTING Executive Director effective from June 04. Kindly work with him and provide your utmost support in doing his and handover duties and responsibilities. 

Important Activities:

1. SONYO-SOS financial report. June 3 was the DEADLINE. Luckily a non-working day. Ensure submitting tomorrow.
2. Oxfam Meeting @ 9am. SONYO+Oxfam+NAGAD applied the EU Call and now is in the final stages. Have done reviews on spliting activities, roles and responsibilities and tomorrow will be the budget and overall look of the proposal. Sorry to miss but believe you can handle it perfectly. Should there will be something unclear call me. 
   
3. Facilitate to SONYO-SOS team's travel to Gabiley tomorrow. 
4. Check SONYO-Oxfam RAMON assessment including my comments and let me hear yours too before we reply.
5. @Abdiqani;  Kindly submit MAY attendance report. Where are we on ASSET Quantifications?
6. @Aideed/Awale; Intern training plan, policy...etc? I want answers by CoB Thursday insha allah.
7. @Programme team; Seriously submit ACTIVITY Reports requested one month ago to submit NED Final Narrative report.  @Abdifatah; take the lead and i want this by CoB Wednesday June 7 insha allah.
   
8. @SONYO-SOS team; 
   

• Kindly follow travel procedure and wish you good luck.
  
• Organize and plan inviting principles of SONYO-SOS 10 Schools.
  
• SONYO-SOS Semi-annual report. Deadline from Christe June 16.         @SONYO-SOS team; work this in advance. Mr. Abdirisak takes the lead as you are the project officer. I want this by CoB June 10 to review and spare 5 days before Christe's deadline.
• @Abdifatah; prepare meeting minutes of the DG of the MoE to proceed Curriculum/Policy request to Q4.
• @Fathia; take the lead in re-planing Q3 to undertake remaining activties (3 Schools). re-plan and communicate in advance with the principles and students too as they will go on vacation after the exams.

P.S: May have limited acces to internet. Should there be hot issues that can't wait long please call.

Dear Miigane, 

The attached file is the meeting minutes between SONYO and the Ministry of Education and Higher Studies. The meeting was attended by Miigane and I inducing Osman, the VoY focal point at the Ministry of Education. If I miss some crucial points particularly the agreed action points; please feel free to incorporate it before I share with SOS for their source of information and documentation. 

NB: Other required docs like NED reports will be shared before CoB today.

Dear Miigane 

As per you prior mail; the reports you want from my end were: GA report, SNYD-20th February report and Tahriib Conference report. 

FYI, two out of those reports are not written. I have asked all program team and no one has those reports. So that, I have ONLY the report for Tahriib Conference that was sent to me by Aideed today. In regards to the commemoration of 20th February, I have other supporting documents like ToR for the commemoration of Somaliland National Youth Day which I was developed and some good action photos 

Find attached Tahriib Conference and ToR for the commemoration of Somaliland National Youth. Please share with Stephen as supporting document for NED report.

Let me politely testify to you the below email with blue color font in which I have sent you on 8th June, 2017, as a response for the task you required me as per your prior mail. I think you have not read my reply email accordingly. That's why you included me of those who have undone their tasks. 

Look at below paragraph that I have copied from your reminder mail which is the task you required me (That I was DONE it) according to my reply mail:

You mentioned here that this task was undone but I was DONE it according to my below mail.

Dear Miigane, 

Thanks for your prompt response. 

My role on this matter is to collect those reports (GA and 20th February reports) from the staff particularly program team, so that, once I asked all program team, they told me that these reports have not been written.

These activities were conducted in December 2016 and February 2017, that time I was not acting program coordinator nor the person who was assigned to write these reports. I am not responsible why these reports are not documented since it was not part of my task the time that these activities were undertaken. 

In the meantime, I told you this issue both email and orally and yet you inquire me to bring NOT written reports. So, what should I do on this matter? 

Even by yourself you asked all staff individually both support and program team and you found same answer that these reports are written. Then, what is the way forward?

Dear Miigane,

An update of my assigned task. Here is what we have accomplished so far:-

1. Quarter three(July-Sept,2017) budget and work-plan were DONE and shared with SOS.
2. Budget breakdown and work plan of the OBJ 3 Policy review were also Done and shared with both SOS team and MOE.
3. Quule Aden  and Gacan-Libah School were informed and planned to start the training on 18 to 21June,2017.
4. 26June principle were contacted by phone and informed us to meet him on his office by tomorrow.
5. Budget breakdown of the  three remaining school are attached below.
6. The transportation bus are informed.

 NB:

• Regarding conducting parallel training(3 Schools)for the upcoming week we need to print  two banners for each school.
• Also in the budget we have added one school venue encase wee need or we can discuss with their principles since the school will be off we can conduct in their classes/ venue.
  

If I miss some thing. kindly share with me
