A tool/plugin for RPG Maker MZ that allows for the creation of map and battle HUDs using an external, custom-built editor. Everything from text and pictures to gauges and faces is provided. Presets for conditions, text, and numbers are also hard-loaded and ready to be configured for RPG Maker projects.

I'm having an issue with the Picture Gauge. I finally got everything working and it falls when the enemy takes damage, unfortunately it doesn't sync up with the enemy's hp.

The gauge doesn't fall enough when the enemy has >50% health, once the enemy has exactly 50% health then the gauge is perfectly in sync, but

The free version of HUD maker has a pretty basic text component, and so far as I can tell doesn't have multiline support (say, if you want a paragraph of text in a window). Does the paid version have that?

This might be a long-shot, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. Do you think it would be possible down the line to add functionality to import HUD data from your HUD Maker MV plugin into HUD Maker Ultra Pro? I'm hoping to move a project that makes heavy use of your HUD Maker from MV into MZ, but the thought of recreating several hundred HUD components is admittedly pretty daunting.

Yes, HUDMaker has animations and events for hovering over buttons or clicking them. There is a lot you can do with this plugin, I use the PRO version to make custom menus. The free version will let you do a lot as well. You should check it out.

Ah---I can make the button fully transparent, but Is there a way to make it clickable while a message is happening? I can only click it when the message is over, is there a code or something I can put in?

Hi, this is a really good tool. I've been using the free version for a while and I was wondering if the pro one allows you to show status effects like the baseline hud cause so far I've had to configure one icon image for each effect which is kinda of a downside.

After a long time I used this tool again... I didn't used it, because I thought it wouldn't be compatible with android. Now I tested it (new project with only Ultra Base, HUD Maker Ultra & HUD Maker Ultra Pro) and it works for me / on my phone. ^^

I evented some titlescreens, even small menus but with this tool it's so much easier. It can be a little bit difficult, there are many features that the tool offers. So take your time, it's worth it. :)

The tool works well but it has several bugs that you will only find when you really start creating different screens and need several features that don't have. I used it in a project but ended up abandoning it due to the lack of basic features that should be present in the current version. You may not encounter these problems, but unfortunately I did.

I paid 40$ for a tool that works well but doesn't have any after sales support. I will contact itch support to claim my refund. If you want to buy this tool, think about it, any problems or questions you have, you are on your own. I will have to redo everything I did in HUD Maker manually because I have a problem that directly affects my project.

I know this is odd for me to reply to a post you made 2 years ago but hopefully you will be able to help me, is there a way to setup the hud and add text numbers to it as well the numbers showing current xp with needed total xp?

I just purchased the pro version and I love it so far! Just had a few questions about a couple things, first is a title menu shown below. I was wondering how can I get the buttons to be clicked to start a new game/load/Options etc etc also how to go back to this screen if you leave the game.

The other question is a little more complicated. For my battle system all 5 of the characters have their own versions of attack/guard along with their class based skills. I was wondering how would you program those buttons? It would need to track whose turn it is. Any help is appreciated, have a good day.

I bought the pro version and can safely say this is really great stuff. It's really easy to use if you just explore the options to see what you can do. I'm glad so much stuff is in there that won't require me using any JS.

Hello, do I understand this correctly, that this app can't replace main menu or battle menu, it only adds extra views on top of map or battle? Are there any plans to make it possible in the future?

Hello, I'm a complete noob to RPG Maker MZ, and HUD Maker Ultra pro, and was wondering how to make a different HUD for the menu area that contains the different options like Items, skills, class, equip, and so forth.

I've tried everything, and even tried youtubing it, but can't seem to figure out how to implement this in the software. Could you please point me in the right direction how to do this, If it's even possible to do. I'm driving myself crazy with trying to figure this out.

When buying gasket maker at my local auto-supplies store some time back, I was unsure about whether or not the color of the tube made any difference. The only thing I could see was a different temperature rating on the tube itself.

Since every manufacturer can use whatever color they want to create their flavor of gasket material. RTV or Room Temperature Vulcanization sealants come in many types, colors, flavors, and work to seal for many different occasions. Also remember that each manufacturer may utilize the same color for different means. Black sealant is very commonly used in the manufacture of sealants. This just adds more to the confusion.

Not that I have empirical evidence of such, but I believe Permatex is most likely the preeminent maker of RTV gasket maker. They have a whole list of other products as well, but the sealants they make do work pretty well. I'll use their colors scheme to describe the differences and when they should be used. Ultimately, though, it comes down to reading the package as to if the product you are looking at is right for your needs.

Permatex has several different types of sealants. Most of which are RTV, but some specify use in anaerobic situations where there isn't any air to do the curing. I will try to break out the different types of sealants and how they are utilized:

Anaerobic (color unknown) - Used where no air will be present after being applied. This product would probably work well for under water situations, such as boat jet drive, or as a temporary fix to replace an o-ring.

This list is not exhaustive. As you can tell, the same colors (well mainly black) is used over and over again for different reasons. You can also see that there is a lot of overlap between the different sealants. One sealant can be used in many different applications. The thing to remember is, some of the sealants work better for certain applications.
