to Sons of Avraham, UTOM
It truly is strange when I step back and look at my journey, from were
I started to were I am now. I have come a long way from a young man in
the Methodist church. This is were I learned my foundation on whom G-d
was, and learned all the stories of the bible. I also learned a lot
about community, because back then, the people we went to church with,
and lived next to were family, and we all cared much for each other,
no one locked there doors, worried about anyone trying to get over on
you. Then over the years growing to baptist, Assembly of god, UPC,
then finally the messianic Jewish movenment. In every level of my
walk, I learned much, good and bad, but would not change any of my
spiritual journey for nothing.
Then a couple of years ago I made another step up the ladder, finding
out much of what I knew was wrong, according to the Torah, and had to
stop and start all over again. Much pain, hurt, nights I have to admit
just wanting to give up, and walking away from it all. With G-DS help
I have made it through all pain, and now see a light, and starting to
feel that fire again. This is the one thing I feel is missing in the
Jewish faith, excitment, and a fire to want to help people see the
Truth, no, not like the christian feel, saving them from hell, but
helping people get back on the right path. I know many x christians
stay away from emotional area's, because of things they saw in the
chruch, but G-d did create our emotions, not to rule us, but they can
help us move closer to G-DS heart, and see the people around us who
need help.
Now to my point, I heard from a person today who was branging about
the amount of people who are leaving Yeshua and going to the Karaite,
and other Jewish faith. Now on one hand, I love to hear people grow
like me, and start to see things not right, and make a change, but why
do people have to hate on Yeshua so much? Really, it is not His fault
what he church has done to his ministry, nor did He ever say He was G-
d. He was a great example of a Torah person, pointing people back to
Torah, and to G-d, opeining a door for non Jews to come and learn
about the Torah. So, lets give him a break, stop hating on Him, as I
said, its not His fault, its like a box of chicken, if you eat dark
meat, take the dark meat out, eat it, and throw the rest away.
Torah Rules, and I am excited were UTOM is, and where it is going. I
am thankful that our leaders are not Yeshua haters, and give Him a
place as a great Torah teacher, and a fine example for one to follow.
