Did Yeshua live? We really have no evidence at all, we have the new
testiment, and we know most of that was not even written at least 60
years after Yeshua lived. Paul I felt never meet him, and the church
has changed so much, who knows. I do feel for me that he did live, but
no proof. This is why we live the Torah and not look to Yeshua, or the
nt to base our faith. Why didn't Philo, and others at that time not
talk about this man?

I do feel that Yeshua existed. I also feel that the church has warped
his life and intertwined mythological stories into it. While there
may not be concrete evidence, the same criteria can be used to
disprove any number of historical figures ever existed. None of us
where there so there is no concrete proof that many we hold in esteem
in history ever existed.

That being said....I believe that Yeshua was an observant Israelite.
I also believe that he was a great teacher and rebbe. I think that he
wanted to bring the people back to the foundation, the Torah. I also
believe that he very well could have been messiah ben Yoseph....the
suffering messiah. Judaism teaches that every generation has a
messiah within it. Could he have been that figure? Quite possibly.
I also believe there is something more to the statement about him
being the 2nd Adam....could he have actually been Adam reborn? Could
the purpose of his death actually have been to correct what mistake he
had made in the Garden?

While we may never know the answers to these questins, I feel that to
discredit him completely would be wrong. There are many great sages
in Judaism who cannot be "proven" to have lived. I feel that Yeshua
should be given the same respect as these great men have been given.
And perhaps if it had not been for the church's perversion of Yeshua
into a mythological god-man, then maybe we would see his opinions
being given their place in Talmud and Mishna.

I also feel He did live, and yes, the church twisted the truth about
who he really was. I do feel He was a great Torah teacher, a true
example of Torah living. I do feel He was ben Joseph, what He did, I
am not totally sure, but I know it was very important. I also feel His
main mission was to point people back to Torah, and to bring the non
Jew into the Torah lifesytle, and leave there pagan ways.
The hatred for this man is unreal, but is it? Did not the Jewish
people feel the same way about Moses from the start, and then wanted
to stone him in the wilderness. This is not the first time we see a
man from God killed by his people.

Keep in mind that it is not permitted to torture a person to death
according to Jewish law. So the method in which Jesus was to be
killed would not have been supported by Jewish law. This makes me
suspect that the account of his death may not be true. Plus under
Roman law only the Roman's can perform a death penalty. Things don't
add up in the "new testament".

While torture is not permitted in Jewish law, Yeshua was not killed
under Jewish, but Roman Law. Therefore the description of his death
by cruxifiction could very well be 100% accurate. Many "criminals"
and others were killed by the Romans in this manner. Does that mean
any of the rest of the account is accurate......probably not.
Definitely not the resurrection part, at least that is my opinion.

Now on Josephs side, he was in line to be King, and on Marys side, he
could be a hight priest becasue of the Rechabite connection, when you
take Marys linage back far enough, you will find she has Rechabite
blood in her, which means according to what HaShem told the
Rechabites, they will be able to come into the presence of HaShem for
ever, the only non Jewish sect allowed to do this.
Now the Jewish leaders new this, and they felt that He would try and
take the throne, or worst, hight preist, they would all be in trouble
for he might restore things like they should of been restored. At this
point, Rome and the Jewish leaders needed him gone, so they would of
worked together to get rid of him.

Interesting points. Would Yeshua be eligible to be a king since
Jeconiah is in his lineage? Also the Priestly line is through the
father’s side. So could he ever be a priest? Just some things to
contemplate.

So much for the Jews being Christ killers as some claim in ignorance.

I brought this up so that we can wonder if the Judeans were in fact
asking for his death in this manner knowing the torture that was going
to occur.

True, but you know that the rabbis tell us that Jeconiah somehow made
it right with God, plus, yes in fact he could be priest, Josephs mom
was a Rechabite also, which would in turn let him be priest. We have
got to get into a study on the Rechabites, there is some major points
here. He has Rechabite blood on both sides of his lenage. And yes,
there was a Rechabite priest reacorded in the Tanach. Cool stuff.

Good point, but remember one thing, it was the Judean priest whom
killed the prophets, in very, very bad ways. So yes, the priest of
that time could of started a riot and so, remember what they did to
James the Just! Threw him off the top of the Temple.
