Join us for a half-day training targeted at educators, parents, and professionals who work directly with youth. This training
will examine the impact that bullying can have on adolescents and transitional aged youth. Mental health issues such as depression and increased risk for suicide will be discussed. Youth are welcome to attend.

Cyberbullying and suicide prevention will be discussed through lecture, audio/visual presentation, and interactive discussion.
The training will include:

Ways to identify adolescents at risk for cyberbullying

Prevention techniques for parents, educators, and youth
-
How to recognize and respond to suicidal ideology in youth
-
Practicing interventions and increasing confidence in helping someone in crisis

Credit Available:
Course meets the qualifications for 3.5 hours (3.5 board-approved units) of continuing education credit for MFTs and LCSWs as required
by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. CE units are available for a fee of $10, payable to "CIHS Inc." on the day of the training.
