Hello World!
It is amazing how quickly the depths of winter begin to slip away, and
the hint of spring shows itself.

That said: where the heck has the time gone!?

In light of the waning days of winter, it is truly time to get this
project started! Our board is currently a little fractured for the
Tour of California festivities, but that'll be over very soon, and it
will be high gear for Sonoma Velo Project in 2009!

We have had a fistful of juicy meetings with local park staff,
planners, managers and developers, and the news is [SERIOUSLY...] all
positive & good!

I also have had a (sumptuous) field trip off to the Seattle I-5
Colonnade bike park - and wrote a thing or two about it - as well as
took over 140 pictures to share with you. Please give it a read
here: http://www.sonomaveloproject.com

There will be more information coming very soon. Please forward this
to everyone you know who thinks we are overdue for bike park features
in Sonoma County! We will have some big announcements in the coming
week or two about our first venture and the need for public
participation. No amazing things are going to be accomplished without
a LOT of your help needed!

Please also get your friends signed up to this google group for
announcements!

Best wishes & tread lightly,
Jake Bayless

Jake, I sent a few things to the group but they kicked back. I then copied
Carlos at his addy on the web site. Did anyone there get the info I sent(it
included info on the I-5 project too)?
