Hello Cycling Community!

This is a *WE NEED YOUR HELP* on bended knee kind of email.

Many of you have participated in and enjoyed the 2008/2009 Cyclocross series put on by our friend and promoter, Carlos Perez of BikeMonkey.net.

After this last Saturday's Doyle Park Cyclocross & Velove festival, the park took quite a beating, and we need to make it right again.

What can you do?

Easy:  Help ensure our community and City leaders that the cycling community can quickly rally behind all things good & fun.

Your help is needed, TOMORROW, between 9am and noon at Doyle Park.  [Saturday, February 21st]
Please bring a shovel, gloves and some snacks and water for yourself.

I brought my wife & 1 year old to spectate at the race this last weekend - it was a gas!  It is EXACTLY the kind of thing I want my family and neighbors to have available to them to enjoy - but if we don't lend a little hand in cleanup, we can be sure that Cyclocross in our parks might not happen next year!

So:
forward this plea to your buddies.
go out to breakfast beforehand
skip church, and come to the house of mud
Be there!

Saturday.  Tomorrow.  9am.  Doyle Park.  Shovel in hand!  (wheelbarrow if you've got one)  Tell a friend!

Questions and whatnot about the cleanup day should be directed to our fearless leader, and ever present generous Giver: Jason Silverek.  jsil...@gmail.com 548-3586

Thanks again and see you there,

Jake, I am sorry I missed this event! I wonder how the work went with all the rain?? If you need help after it dries out post it up and I can come out if it is before Thursday (heading to Ray’s Indoor MTB Park). Otherwise, let me know if something still needs to be done the week of 3/2. I have tools and trail work knowledge with a modicum of elbow grease.
