the eDispatch page apparently failed - the radio signal on their pages
had been really bad at 1248 and 1249 on 7/13/2026

the fire call in question was on 7/14/2026 at approx 818 am - there
were no Hyannis pages showing at eDispatches - but there were pages
for West Barnstable FD + Barnstable FD + Dennis Sta 1

818 am - west barnstable engine to the fire

819 am - barnstable ladder to the fire - told to use Ops 1

819 am - dennis sta 1 paged for ambulance to cover Hyannis HQ

hyannis fd pages on eDispatches on 7/13 showed up as HYFDAllCall and
HYFDCompany3

note - lots of FDs move on first alarms on cape cod - basically they
use a system that has 1 staffed engine in each station - and then they
page off duty members to staff 2ndary units

the Boston area is very different - very few of the MetroFire FDs
still page offduty staff to respond to any calls

and fdny and lafd only call the offduty staff when its a calamity
