Hello,
I've got Tasmota 5.8.0 flashed to one of these one relay boards and through the Tasmota Webserver, set it a BASIC module. The board has a black ESP-01 with standard 8-pin connector, so I think either GPIO0 or GPIO2 are the only possibilities to fire the board relay. I cannot get any action from on the board. I have been playing around trying different module configurations, but having now success. Has anyone done similar or can anyone suggest how to control the single relay?
Regards,
Phil

I tried Sonoff Dev and tried all the GPIOs shown individually with no success. Have also tried to wring the board out the determine which pin is used but cannot as it uses that I2C scheme I think. Thanks for the picture.

Sorry for all the updates. GPIO1 turns on the Blue ESP01 LED.

I found that the Sonoff SC lets me set GPIO2 as a Relay, but then has button to toggle it.
I think that two ways forward would to be adding a plugin to send the serail commands to the MCU or to solder in a jumper around the MCU. Has anyone done either?

It would be 'art project' time with the pcb round here by now, if you have the patience skills and components, cutting the mcu output to the relay coil track and solder in a transistor as detailed in the link you found between the esp gpio pin you elect to trigger the relay and the relay coil, the problem you are having may well be down to a problem with the mcu and as its a black box attempting to validate and employ it could take some time. Way easier to eliminate its output and replace with a basic switch imho .
