Hi,

I tried to compile the firmware in order to include BME280 sensor to an ESP32 AITHINKER CAM.
I use visual studio code with the platformio extenison for the compilation.
I have done modifications to  my_user_config.h ; i.e. #define USE_BMP
But after compilation, there is no I2C entries available. It is like the option is not taken into account.

Is there another file I have to modif ?

Many thanks,

Philip Knowles

I’d try TasmoCompiler and see if that works

https://gitpod.io/#https://github.com/benzino77/tasmocompiler

Watch out for the popup window being blocked

Select ESP32 – WebCam – Temp/Hum Sensors

Regards

Hi,

This is what I tried first, currently having failed with : sh: 1: xtensa-esp32-elf-g++: not found *** Error 127

I did a try with Tasmocompier development docker installation under raspberry and gipod.io. Same error.

Correction:
Under gipod.io it is OK if I don't select hoem assistant.
If I do it:
/home/gitpod/.platformio/packages/toolchain-xtensa-esp32/bin/../lib/gcc/xtensa-esp32-elf/8.4.0/../../../../xtensa-esp32-elf/bin/ld: /tmp/ccVDAXfz.ltrans13.ltrans.o:(.literal+0x290): undefined reference to `HAssDiscover()'

You have to ask the Tasmota Dev Team about that. There has to be a reason that HomeAssistant is (by default) removed from webcam build:
