Hi,
I have flashed my RE5V1C Sonoff with Tasmota using the template on Github. It works fine except it behaves just like a normal switch. I believe that with the  original itead firmware, you use the app to swap between standard switch and inching mode (1s on and then off). Does anyone know how to change to inching mode with Tasmota?

Sounds like PulseTime is what you want.

Wow that was easy, thanks. I guess this means that with Tasmota you don't need an inching switch as any regular switch will do the same with this function?

The problem with pulse time as opposed to blink is that all on commands result in a pulse on the relay. With blink Power1 1 gives a constant on while Power1 3 gives you pulses. It depends what you want to achieve.

I am wanting to mimic the pushing of a button for 1 second such as for a garage door opener. Would PulseTime or Blink be better for this?

Pulsetime if you the only want a pulse and never want a continuous output. Blink if you need a  combination.
If it's 'fire and forget' ie a pulse sets the door closing or opening and it will carry on by itself - pulsetime.
For a roller blind where you might want to sometimes stop part way blink may be a better option as you can use Power1 1 to give a constant output and Power1 3 to give a pulsed (or 'inching') output.

In these parts DST started March 14, 2021. At 2:00 am on Sunday March 14 clocks are to be set forward to 3:00 am.

March 14 this year is day 1 in week 3.

I figure the correct TimeDST in my area to be "TimeDst 0,3,3,1,2,<time offset>". But I find “Time" not changing at all. I do find “Time” changing when I use "TimeDst 0,2,3,7,2,<time offset>”. I believe that TimeDst would be for this past Saturday at 2:00 am.

I have not tried to see if I could see when TimeStd actually influences “Time”.

I figure the TimeDst business was beat to death long ago, so I wonder how I am looking at this thing wrong. The devices are running 9.3.1.

For TimeDST/TimeSTD to have effect, you also need to set Timezone 99
