I know its only October but its time to start planning out Christmas lights at my house. Adding 2000 RGB pixels to the house this year.

Has anyone connected a Sonoff with TASMOTA to xLights (xLights is a free and open source program that enables you to design, create and play amazing lighting displays) https://xlights.org/

I have posted the same question on their forum. Hopefully, someone out there had done it.

I want to turn on and off normal porch lights using my already installed Sonoff with TASMOTA.

And thank you to all the TASMOTA folks. This is EXCELLENT software. I use it throughout my home 20+ devices and counting.

I don't think Sonoff makes a Xmas light controller. That being said, Tasmota Seems to be focusing on giving people the ability to take control of mass-ready made hardware.

However, I'm using https://github.com/forkineye/ESPixelStick for xmas lights. its MQTT & E1.31 aware. And have good folks that actively tend to the code.

Just a thought. Hope it helps.

Yes, I will be using several D1 mini boards with the ESPixelStick firmware installed for all the pixels. 2000+ RGB pixels. That is another EXCELLENT software

I just wanted it to integrate my porch lights which are currently controlled by an Electrodragon board running TASMOTA, controlled by Home Assistant.

Maybe the TASMOTA firmware could add the E1.31 protocol somehow. Possibly another great expansion for the TASMOTA firmware.
I'm not a great programmer but here is a GitHub repository by Shelby Merrick (forkineye) maybe it can be added.
