I'm a longtime fan of Tasmota, but new to this forum.
Just got two Gosund KS602, but can't get them into programming mode. These are different from the KS602S, as they have pogo pin pads instead of a header. There is a RST pad that might need to be activated.
Any idea to get this device into programming mode would be greatly appreciated.

Attached are two files and if getting them to work, would like to add them to the template list as they are dimmable.

If it is a ESP8266/8285 chip, and by programming mode you meant flash mode... GPIO 0 needs to be connected to Ground on the chip before power for a couple of seconds to boot the chip in flash mode.

Or, since these are Tuya based, you can try Tuya-Convert.

Thanks Nic, yes I did mean Flash mode and yes i did gonnect the gpio pin to ground and the the led did turn off, but when starting the Tasmota programmer, the FTDI tx/rx lights don't blink and the programmer can't get a connection. Also swapping tx and rx did not help.

A poor quality FTDI can also cause issues due to insufficient power.

My feeling is also a power issue.
If you have a electrical meter, you can test the volts as you boot... It should NEVER drop below 3,2v DC while flashing.

And with the double pcb it will consume more power.

Yes, the green led dose flicker a lot when only powered by the FTDI. Will check that out

If you have a spare pc power supply, you can get 3.3v off the orange leads.

Make sure you connect power supply ground and FTDI ground to KS602 ground.

I used tuya convert but could never get tasmota configured right.

GPIO 4: button1
GPIO 12: the white led, use Led1i
GPIO 14: green led, use LedLinki

Could never get the dimmer values to change. I messed one up trying to solder it so I have full breakdown pictures

set the configuration as shown then add these rules through the console

Backlog Rule1 on Power1#state=1 do SerialSend5 ff endon; Rule2 on Power1#state=0 do SerialSend5 00 endon; Rule1 1; Rule2 1
