I just reflashed the THR316 device that I am having trouble with
I copied the chipinfo and here it is:

Chip Info:
 - Chip Family: ESP32
 - Chip Model: ESP32-D0WDQ5-V3 (revision 3)
 - Number of Cores: 2
 - Max CPU Frequency: 240MHz
 - Has Bluetooth: YES
 - Has Embedded Flash: NO
 - Has Factory-Calibrated ADC: YES
 - MAC Address: 5C:01:3B:71:75:70
U
Does this shed some light on my problem?
Also if I flash with the Tasmota-Bluetooth will I have the option to plug in a temp/Humidity senso and be able to receive the data via Wifi?

More questions to follow.
Tom

Best way to flash is to use the Web Installer tab on the Tasmota Home Page. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a C6 chip - possibly ESP32-D0WD-V3 so flash with tasmota32-bluetooth

Hello;
New to the group. Having said that, I have flashed a few of these devices with Tasmota.
I recently purchased a few more of these devices.
I have flashed them successfully or at least I think I was successful.ESP-Flasher.
tt said the flash was successful. I used tasmota32c6.bin as the file.

My problem is that I can not get it to put out a Wi-Fi signal. I have monitored my network and have not seen any new ip addresses. I even tried the 192.168.4.1 connection but still no joy.
What am I missing?

You flashed  a D0WD processor with a bin for a C6. The web installer checks what are suitable for the device you have.

The capabilities for each version are here
But the standard ESP32 builds cover DHT12s so you should be OK
