Firmware Shelly 2.5 over WiFi

Hello, is it possible to flash a Shelly 2.5 with the Tasmota firmware over WiFi without removing them from the wall?

I think it should be possible with an preconfigured zip file and http commands, but i can't find an image or manual...

Is it possible to use the mgos  software for OTA Tasmota friware upgrades?
Is this only for Shelly or also possible fro Sonof relay units (1MB flash)? Mine are on 6.5 and like to go via OTA to 9.5

Not sure why you want to use different software when the functionality for OTA is built in Tasmota

Upgrading - Tasmota

Make sure you follow the process on the Releases pages.

 

In your case

I want to skip the long update list and OTA install the latest Tasmota version (9.5) via Mongose as an intermediate OS
My experience with a long list of updates is not good and I like to avoid it this time. Simple OTA and only one update to the latest Tasmota version is what I envisage to accomplish if possible.

You can’t (or you do so at your own risk). The flash memory locations are different between the versions. Shelly is runs on Mongoose Tasmota doesn’t

 

You only need to install the lite/basic versions. If you paste the link into the top box of the OTA it will do each stage without having to go through minimal.

For example 6.7.1 is

http://ota.tasmota.com/tasmota/release-6.7.1/sonoff-basic.bin
