Tasmota power cost estimation possible?

Hi

I just successfuly flashed my Teckin plugs with Tasmota and they work very good.

I know these built in power/energy sensors are not very precise but I asking me

if it would be possible to implement some kind of rough cost-estimation based on the

total or daily used kWh values with a configurable electricity rate like 0,30€/kWh.

Would that be possible or is that a bad idea...?

Ask Theo on the Tasmota GitHub. It’s easy enough to do the calculation in home automation software though. You could also perhaps use a Rule and a variable updated every kWh.
