Hi -
I'm really struggling here.

I have a Sonoff T1 (1 CH) which I have Tasmota 9.5 flashed.

I want my button press to not do anything to the relay but send MQTT messages instead.

Essentially, I'm looking for SetOption114 / SwitchMode15 behavior for switches but for the button on the Sonoff.

Any pointers?  I've googled, Redditted, Discorded and have not been able to put the pieces together to a solution.

Thanks!

Alright.  That worked.  The relay no longer toggles on button press, and I see MQTT messages sent when I single, double, trip, etc click

I'm embarrased for not trying it.  Thanks for the info.

However....this leads me to my second scenario:

I have a Sonoff T1 3CH which controls a fan, fan lights and a hanging light.  I executed SetOption73 1.  Like in my 1CH, it stopped the buttons from affecting the relays, but all that is recognized is SINGLE.

I've read through the "Multi-Press Functions" section of Buttons and Switches but cannot find anything addressing this.

What am I missing?

Can you take a screenshot of Configure Module page?

Try to find the device on Blakadder's site and set it up as Generic and set the GPIO as he recommends. It may be there's an ESP8265 interfering here.

Found my model on Blackadder:

Matched in the Module Config

Multi-clicks continue to report as Single and to not affect the Relay state:

The logs at boot time refernece multi-clicks:

I'm going to go down the log rabbit hole and see what I find.

You've got one of the SetOptions set (can't remember which) because it's changing the topic to double, triple etc not sure why retained is appearing
