Hello,

My name is Paul Silaghi, I am from Romania.

I want to connect my Sonoff Mini R2 to MQTT but I have a problem flashing to Tasmota. Here is what I already did:

  • I managed to connect Mini to laptop following this procedure: https://github.com/njh/sonoff-ota-flash-cli
  • I enabled WSL and Debian from Microsoft Store to be able to use Linux commands from that link
  • I downloaded sonoff-ota-flash.sh

Problem is the following: when I try to execute sonoff-ota-flash.sh the script does not find my module in my local network even if I see it in my router’s device list with local IP. I am asking you advices about where could be the problem, or to point me out another method of flashing Mini with Tasmota. Please take into consideration I am rookie :) Thank you in advance.
